Hi, did you end up diving in Cartagena? I'll be arriving there next week so would be interested to hear what you thought of the diving there and how much it costs. Any info on a place to stay would also be great.
I'm ordering a pressure gauge and want to know if anyone can recommend a particular brand/model. Or are there any I should stay away from?
I notice there's a few labelled Scubapro which have a Uwatec logo on it... I'm assuming it's the same manufacturer?
I'm happy to pay more for a quality...
Looks like the WP-DC51 only needs 1 weight but you probably want to get rid of the whole set?
Please message me a price to post your set to HK.

Thanks fbk, how many weights are there and how much do you want for them?
Looks like I can screw the weights to the bottom of the housing?
Should I be aiming for neautral or slightly negative buoyancy?
I bought an s120 and Canon housing (WP-DC51) and find it's quite positive buoyant from testing in the swimming pool. My GoPro is highly negative bouyant and sinks very fast in water but it's not an issue because I clip it my BCD.
How do people find positive buoyant cameras? Are they more...
Ha I saw guys on my last trip with masks on their heads backwards on the way to the dive site. These guys were also wearing Jetfins and I want to be like them one day. Yeah the black and titanium s600 models look great but I don't think there's much difference functionality wise. Simon, what are...
Hi Tammy, yes I got the stage 1 & 2 the wrong way. You make some good points so I'll splurge and get 1 x Mk25 and 2 x s600's, one for the octopus. It'll make things easier when I get into tech diving and only need to get another Mk25 for the setup. My instructor also uses 4 x s600's for tech...
I've decided to buy a regulator and want to get the Scubapro s600 stage 1 with Mk25 stage 2.
There's lots of info and threads about this model but I'd like to clarify a couple of things:
1. I can get the standard S600 model for US$587 or the gold anniversary edition for US$625 at a shop in Hong...
Thanks but to be honest I wasn't that impressed with the diving at Boracay except for Yapak. They have great beaches and nightlife but I think Moalboal, Bohol and Sabang offer better diving.

Thanks for the input and sorry about my late reply.. just had to get xmas and new years out the way :cheerleader::coke:
I've heard a few people recommend Asia Divers so I'll check with them when I arrive. I've only been to Sabang (PG) once before and dived with a Korean group (Sea Queen) who...
Hi guys, I'll be in the Philippines for 2 months (Jan-March 2014) and plan to get certified as a DM while I'm there. I'm currently advanced certified so I'll need to get my rescue diver before the DM certification. I've done a search and found an old thread so thought I'd ask here if anyone can...
Hi guys, I just signed up so I can contribute and also find out some current info on the best place to do a DM internship / course in the Philippines. I'll be in the Phil's for 2 months (Jan-March 2014) and plan to get certified as a DM, possibly in Puerto Galera or Palawan. I'll make a new...
