I looked at some fins and then realized they were snorkel fins so didn't look any further. So, snorkel fins will work as well as scuba fins? I don't want to get 30 feet down and then my fins fall apart. I would prefer blue, but I won't buy fins, JUST because they are blue. My mask is blue...

Sometimes all the info is a little overwhelming, but I enjoy getting others opinions and advice. I have to be comfortable with what I'm using or it won't be fun to me. That's just me though. I'm all about safety!!!!

I like those force fins. Looks like you can do a lot with those. Also, kind of looks like a mermaid tail.

I'm thinking if that's what I really want and can dive with them safely and enjoy it, he wouldn't mind buying them. He just doesn't think I will enjoy them in the long run. He's usually right about other stuff, so I guess I might as well just listen and OBEY him this time. ;)

Thanks, I'll check into borrowing a pair and checking them out. If they work differently for different kinds of dives I might want a pair of both.

I've used his fins just messing around at the lake, and yes you are correct, I do need to try them out first, but I do like the way they look, I prefer blue ones. But, seriously, I do want a pair that will work for me, I was just curious what the big difference is in them.
