Hello,
I understand what you mean I do not need one but I would rather be safe and do it properly - I like doing thinks as manufacturer suggests and so I would like to buy a wrench. If you can suggest a toque wrench that will do the job properly I would appreciate it!
I got an Apeks and a...
Hi guys,
Can you suggest what torque wrenches I need so I can tight correctly the hoses to my regulators.
I have seen that in the manuals that they suggest a specific amount of tightness. I know that too tight might damage the first stage and if not enough time might be dangerous in water...
Even though I got very few dives, before a pool training dive and during the pre-dive checks the BCD inflator got stuck and I had to hit the inflator button hard to unstuck it and make it stop inflating the BCD. I asked the training centre to give me another BCD. I suppose poor maintenance was...
Yeah sure but there you have a resistance from the latex of the balloon thats why - you put that pressure on the balloon to inflate not in your lungs (your lungs just generate that pressure). When your lungs are full and you cannot suck more air than that, then there is no way unless you use...
I suppose most people do not know how to close their glottis and still push more air in the lungs while they are fully inflated. I mean if I get a full breath I do not know how to force more air in than that. So I suppose generally whatever hard you try you cannot inflate your lungs more that...
Thanks you for your replies guys.
So I guess the answer is no. Your chest muscles are not nearly strong enough from what I understand to create such a big pressure to your lungs when inhaling to cause over expansion. Only if using a device that can blow so much air with pressure into your lungs...
Hi guys,
Probably a silly question but I was wondering. Can you get a lung overexpansion on the surface ? For example when you take a very very deep breath up to the point you cannot inhale more air and push it too the limits. I am asking just from curiosity.
Thanks,

Hi guys,
Thank you for your replies.
I am leaning towards to lynx, it does seems like a great piece of kit.
I will wait a bit more to see if more people will also share their opinion.
Thanks,
socc
I see. Thank you for your answer.
I think I however need something more than just the algorithm to decide. It would be good if you use any of the two and you can give some comments on what you like and what you do not !
Thanks,

Hello guys,
I would be grateful if people that own or have used a lot the Liquivision Lynx and Mares Icon HD Air or HD Net Ready can give me some idea about these two computers.
I am looking into those two and I would like to know peoples opinion before making my mind on buying one.
Many...
Hi guys,
Thanks all for your answers. I really like diving and since I am new to it - only got 10 dives - I am still learning.
I never took a breath out of the wing and I will never do except if I have to decide between death and actually breathing the air from the wind.
I always read the...
Hi Basking. I think I am overthinking it as well but I always like to be on the safe side. If a medic in the forum replies then I would feel better ! Thanks, for the info though.
Hi Jim. Thanks for the advice. I am mainly concerned about my health to be honest. Probably I am too worried but I just want to be safe. I cannot find anywhere anything regarding how common and bad can be to inhale air from BC.
Hi Basking. Of course I take my mouth off from the inflator but when the wing is almost fully inflated when you press the button to put some more air in, some air comes out while you exhale. I am not inhaling any air in from the wing in purpose, but as I exhale and air comes out I was wondering...
Hello there,
I know but I am only talking about when I clean the my wing not when underwater. I care mainly about how but this can be to you if it does happen.
Thanks,
Socc
