I just acquired a used ( 1 year old) Mares 3 SPG with compass. There are a few bubbles in the compass which seem to impair the operation if not held level. Will this likely subside at depth as bubbles decrease in size? Thanks,

I'm in St. Martin during your sail else I might consider. My only recommendation to you is to pack much less than you think you'll need. Think minimalist. There's actually plenty of room to stow your empty bags, etc. in your cabin but, handy surface areas for toiletries, cloths, etc is tight...

I understand that dive ops (or the country) in the Bahamas do not allow divers to hunt LF (spears of all kinds) unless you are freediving. Is that true? Hell, I cant even stay down as a freediver long enough to spot one, let alone spear one and bring it up safely. Surely this is an Exuma-rumor!
