    Crossing Agencies

Absolutely. As long as the original class was quality there should be no problem.

Suunto EON Core? Where did this come from?

I just ordered two. One for me and one for my shop for sale. I was impressed playing with it. I can't wait to try it on a real cave dive. I think Suunto has a winner.

Difference between Intro to Tec and Fundamentals

Not exactly. A very large part of the GUE Fundamentals course is about configuration, proper fitting of the harness, and learning, well the fundamentals of diving a standard configuration. You can absolutely go into this course with a wetsuit and a single tank or as a new doubles diver in a...

What computers are you using for tech dives?

Shearwater Perdix, not the AI. You only need one and you cut backup tables. That would be my suggestion if you were coming into one of my tech or cave courses.

    Atomic Z2 for deco/stage bottles

I have personally found that the piston design with the sealed and packed lube seem to be very reliable. I like the compact size for stages. Personally I use the M1s for primary bailout and doubles and the Z2 for everything else. I have one of the ST1 which is very nice too if you want to go...

    Requiring shallow helium mixes?

100 foot END. I have seen divers begin to go catatonic and not respond to signals as shallow as 125 feet. The technology is here, so use it for the best chance of a successful dive.

Zero Gravity - Fantastic Cave Dive Support

I just wanted to take a minute and express how pleased I am once again with my stay at Zero Gravity in Puerto Aventuras while cave diving in Mexico. As a cave instructor who also dives and travels it is great to find professionalism in the industry. They own their own compressor so no concerns...

    KISS Sidekick

300 feet is right near the cutoff of most stock mCCR units. From my limited experience I have found most KISS units are good out of the box for anywhere from 250 to 300 feet. This is due to a combination of the oxygen flow rate through an orifice at a given IP and the divers metabolic rate...

Robbing Paul to pay Peter... a disturbing trend with Revo Rebreathers

I have no dog in this fight except that my facility is the facility used by most of the people on both sides of this discussion. Well not by some on a certain side at this point, but I try to support all units and all instructors that are respectful of basic practices, are good instructors, and...

Show us your kung-fu skills in trimming out Faber cylinders.

This was actually with AL80 and ring bunjees. It's all about getting the attachment point up. It should look the same with LP85s.
