    St. Lawrence River temperature

There are now two new platforms at the old scuba park in Prescott. A line leads from the ramp to the platforms. The rest of the lines are still all intact.

Newb here - primarily a vacation diver until I can retire!

Welcome to the board. I agree with loving Bonaire. We do the routine the opposite way, shore diving in the morning and in the afternoon I hop on a boat and my significant other can then tour the island as she wishes.

    Painting fins

On my black fins (Hollis F1s) I use a white china marker (grease pencil) to put a design on bottom of them. It does wear off over time however just reapply.

Possibly no deco obligation if the airdome was open to the surface (so not under pressure).

    Hey!

Welcome from another Ontario diver. The Saint Lawrence River actually gets reasonably warm (75F) in the summer although we don't have down south visibility. There are quite a few dive sites on the river that are great for less experienced divers in the Brockville area.

What do you mean it didn't snow until Dec 2nd. You had an easy start to the season. Also, unless you lost your mind after the beginning of January, you were just coming into the real winter. First there will be the 3 weeks of - 40 (it doesn't matter if you are F or C at -40) and then the snow...

WRECK OF THE AE VICKERY (Video)

You have to move forward to about 1:00 before the actual video begins. Commentary could use some work. I would have hoped that they got some shots of the stern or the keel box inside however they only got to around midship and then returned to the bow and ended the dive (very short dive).

Building a dedicated shore diving trailer

You might want to have a pipe/bar mounted near the top inside of the trailer along one wall that you can slide part way out the back door when open/parked. When you slide it out it can act as a cloths line/bar for hanging your gear to let it drip dry.

Best Way To Dive Conestoga Wreck Near Brockville?

The chain is only on the shore (starboard) side of the wreck. There is a line along part of the river (port) side however it is best to use the chain.

How do I stop the current sweeping my past my DM?

You can also turn into the current and do a slow fin stoke. You will still travel with the current (yes traveling backwards) however will be slower.
