They were older transmitters. One oil filled the other user replaceable battery. When the new transmitter arrived, it paired quickly. Now....about d/l dives to LogTRACK!!!:banghead:

Anyone else have an issue with pairing? I am waiting on another transmitter, just in case it is bad. Battery is good, but it is an older "triangular" transmitter, with no LED on the end, so I have no idea if it is even activating when pressurized. Also, is there a trick to Cradle/USB...

Are the cradles for the Chromis, Mantis, Mantis2, the same cradle? I think they are the same part number, which suggests there would be no difference, yet they have different prices.

Try having 4 divers in the family! We actually have 14 divers in our "Friends and Family" group. If we want to boat dive, chartering is cheaper than buying seats. We do MANY shore dives. Yeah, the early drive there and the late drive home (if we want to travel to a less dived location)...

I like to restore older SP dive equipment (therapeutic hobby :)). I currently have a MK2/ R190 set that I am piecing together. It came to me, post Irma, with no cover, diaphragm, or ring. I have manged to find these parts (on that e place), but the cover does not have a purge button with it...

I have another 30 or so dives on mine since my last post, and still no problem. I also seem to have the plastic "crossbar" from the picture of the SP modified straps that softgrapes posted in May, so I obviously got a unit that had already been manufactured subject to the SP modification.

Does SP sell a combo LPI Hose/Removable AIR2 QD rather than buying the 2 separate parts? I have the hose (01.310.026) and the QD (21.009.006) Just wondering if there is a SP part number for the combo that includes both, and what the list is? If there is a resource I can use to look it up...

Contracted salvage aside.....if it's a grave site, BAD mojo in my book.....But I guess the loophole is if it's a treasure recovery, of historical value.

This is what I do, Nick. It keeps my hands free but it can get pretty herky-jerky because I look all around, but when I know I am going to try to use certain footage, I make sure to move slowly and keep my head still. It works for me, though sometimes it's still like watching roller coaster video.

I just roll for the entire dive. Any cool stills can be pulled out of the video, anyway. Gotta agree with you there.
