Dude that looks like a sick dive! We went to the Cassimer a couple weeks ago, and that was pretty awesome as well.

    Anyone else like shore dives?

If I was going to be diving, I'd like to enjoy my time under the water long enough to go through a tank. If I was going to go on a short "dive," I'd take my hand at free diving.

Yeah a red filter would be very beneficial. It's crazy the difference it makes.

    Ears after diving a lot

Yeah, it happens to me as well. As long as it isn't painful or causes anything else to suddenly happen then you should be solid.

    The City of Houston Dive

Nah, it isn't. Nearly all of the ship is under the sand. People have been finding and taking bits and pieces off this wreck for years, it's legal.

    The City of Houston Dive

We just got back in from a dive at The City of Houston (About 45 or so miles off the coast of Wrightsville Beach, NC) and that was one of the most interesting dives I have ever been on. The life down there was insane, there were so many different kinds of fish, lobster and other marine life down...

    Creating an underwater park

There a place called Fantasy Lake Scuba Park about two hours or so away from where I'm located at. I've never been there before but it seems like a sick place. I've also never been diving in a quarry before, but here's the link to the place. I'm planning on making a trip there soon! Fantasy Lake...

    Recommendations for ow dives

If you're wanting to pursue wreck diving, North Carolina's coast is the Graveyard of the Atlantic and has a lot of cool wrecks within a 20 miles radius off shore.

    Nitrox Pricing Question...

That's completely understandable where you're coming from OP. I'd be aggravated as well. One thing to keep in mind though, is that 9/10 when a FSO is filling a tank, the tank will heat up and it will read at say 3400psi, then when it cools down it will be back to 3100. Whenever I'm filling tanks...

Pressure equalizing, pollen effects and sinus talk

Hello everyone. Lately on the past few dives, I have had some issues with equalizing the pressure in my head. I hold my nose and blow and that helps, but the pressure keeps coming back and getting worse. It's not unbearable or hard to deal with, but it's just like one of those annoying headaches...

    Do you dive solo?

I've always been taught to not dive solo. So, that's not how I roll. Not yet at least. Maybe once I achieve more advanced skills and knowledge. But it just seems like a bad idea. Too many things can go wrong, and you never know when a regulator may hit the deck (who knows, it may have a...

    Dive Trends for 2014?

From what I've seen so far this year, I'd say the new trend for my area would definitely be the influx of split fins, and a full face mask. Oh, and definitely moving to a back plate system opposed to a BCD.
