For Sale Like New Scubapro Knighthawk Medium BCD W/AIR 2 - SOLD

I could do 350 with shipping. I purchased this item in 2015 and only used it on a few dives before building a BP&W setup. Hung on to it because I was going to let my brother use it for certification but he ended up purchasing one himself. I'm insanely picky about the condition of my gear so I...

Looking for suggestions on a quick dive near Venice

I will be in LA May 3rd - 7th and was looking to see if I could get a quick dive in somewhere. I'll be staying in Venice and am not looking to travel too far for this, just wanted to see if there was a way to sneak a convenient dive in. Thanks in advance for any suggestions!

    ScubaBoard's greatest gift

I've dove with Scubaboard folks in Florida, California and Mexico. I have found it to be a fantastic resource to find captains for private trips but also a great place for group and individual dive buddies.

Is there such a thing as a liveaboard in South Carolina?

Excellent info, thanks everyone. drrich2, thank you for reminding me of Olympus. I had a trip planned there early last year which was canceled due to weather and I had totally forgotten about that. Edit: Gonna try to sneak that Nitrox cert in, my computer is Nitrox ready so why not?

Is there such a thing as a liveaboard in South Carolina?

I still have to get my Nitrox (which I should just go do now) but I am open to anything really. NC is certainly a possibility and as of now is looking like the best option.

This looks like a great lead, thanks!

Is there such a thing as a liveaboard in South Carolina?

Intentionally so, consider it open. I plan my trips around diving availability.

Is there such a thing as a liveaboard in South Carolina?

I am very surprised by this for some reason (although have not previously been there myself). As far as "coastal region" I was going to rent a car so it did not matter to me, I would take any decent operation I found. diversteve thanks for correcting me :)

Is there such a thing as a liveaboard in South Carolina?

I will be heading down to SC next month for my brother's basic training graduation and was wondering if I could sneak in some diving. Are there any liveaboards in this area? I would prefer that to staying in a hotel waiting to dive. I will be traveling in and out of Charlotte airport and will be...

    Recommend a liveaboard!

I did not, in May I went down to Cabo for a week but half of the diving was cancelled due to conditions. It was still a great trip with some good diving though. I now have the itch for adventure again though so I am looking into options again. Lots of great suggestions in this thread, much...

    Air integrated or not?

Wireless AI put a bad taste in my mouth. I bought a Galileo Luna a few years ago and recently the wireless transmitter stopped working. The computer itself is great and does everything I need but I am quite miffed that a $1K piece of equipment failed so early on in life. I don't even have the...

    8 tracks...cassettes.....records.......next masks?

I have a FFM as well as a standard DIR reg setup. IMO there is no one solution that fits all scenarios. My setup depends on my buddy's gear, dive location, travel distance etc etc. No doubt I love my FFM and I am very happy to have it in my collection, however I will always have my DIR reg setup...

    Recommend a liveaboard!

Aquacat looks great but I'll likely reserve something like that for when the girlfriend finally does a liveaboard with me. I can rough it but she needs a little pampering :)

    Recommend a liveaboard!

Early last year I spent a week on the Blackbeards cruise in the Bahamas and had an excellent time. I am getting a hankering for another week of concentrated diving and was about to sign up for another go with Blackbeards but then I figured I might as well see what other options my Scubaboard...

In search of octo holder that actually works

I just got the simple bungee necklace from DRIS and it has performed admirably. Like lots of gear though what works for one does not necessarily work for the next.

How often do you check your gauges?

Since my wireless transmitter died I rely solely on my SPG. I have my SPG clipped on my waist during splash time but after descending I unclip and lay it over my shoulder so I can glance at it as often as I like (pretty often). Once I am almost done with my safety stop I clip it back to my waist.
