    Using a dry suit

Hi, am a novice OW diver and have bought a nice DUI drysuit. I have read a lot about using one although I haven't dove in it yet. Do you think I should have a lesson on using one or do my first dive or two in it in shallow water, maybe even the pool? Thanks Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

has anyone felt advance warning of lung squeeze before?

No nerve endings in your lungs? If you ever have to have tubes put into your lungs to drain them, I hope you never have to, you will find the pain when having them removed is a eleven!

    Zeagle Zena Operator Error!

Yes , the zipper on both the weight bag and the pocket does not appear to have been fully closed. The tab on the zipper has to go under the little pocket when fully closed. This prevents the zipper being knocked open.

Are you too old to dive?

Just past my PADI OW, I'm 69. I have always led a heathy life style, not without problems though. But I think I've got a good 10 years diving in me. Bazzer I don't act like a old person and I don't think like a old person Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Dumping air on ascent with a new Zeagle Ranger

Thanks for the help. My problem in my last dives was that I was underweight with a full tank. At the beginning of the dive with a full AL80 I was positively buoyant and had some difficulty getting down the first few feet until my 7mm suit compressed a bit. My own tank is a steel HP80 3500, so...

Dumping air on ascent with a new Zeagle Ranger

I have just completed my PADI OW and I have a question on controlling my ascent rate by dumping air from my Zeagle Ranger with a remote exhaust valve and two lower dumps as well as the normal inflate/deflate hose. My instructor taught to ascend looking up with one hand on the deflate button...

This sounds like a death that shouldn't happened.

I stand corrected, this accident happened in Ireland which is not part of the UK and therefor not subject to their laws. Sorry for the misleading statement. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

This sounds like a death that shouldn't happened.

It should not have happened since, according to the report, he was a certified diving instructor. There is. O speculation. I the UK there will probably be a Coroners Inquest, which is. Court of Law which will have evidence put to them before a cause of death is listed. This will be public and...

British wreck divers fined for retrieving artifacts

There was a BBC report a few days ago that many of he First World War warships have been completely removed, cut up for their metal, scrap value. Legally of course. But since the battle of Jutland is now just over a hundred years old, those ships, rightly so, are now protected from salvage...

    DIN-Yoke Adapters, reasons to avoid?

Am I correct in saying a DIN 1stage will work in all types of tank DIN valves? I also assume that the plugged valves have less thread so therefore the DIN stage will not screw in so far. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
