Although I switched to closed circuit rebreather diving, my trusty Zeagle Ranger BC that is now almost 20 years old is still holding up perfect....even the inner urethane bladder is in perfect shape.... I like the weight pouches and single red handle tab to release both weight pockets.....

I am told that the electrical wires pass down through the rubber hoses into the handsets on the Classic. If you leave them hanging downards like I did when not in use, moisture can slowly travel down the hollow rubber hoses and get into the handsets. Seems like a bad design.....cost me $300...

Had mine 3 years, never had a cell warning, only replaced batteries......after 3 years, had battery box terminal corrision recitifed and water likes to eventually run down the inner handset hose and get into the controllers corroding the microswitch. All is now solved with the Vision...

Depends on what you are going to use it for. I have an Inspiration with Vision electronics......I like the additional size of the dil cylinder for deeper stuff....wouldn't want to bailout on a 13cf pony and onboard 2 liter dil cylinder.......The Evolution for 100-150 foot stuff might be ok on...

Ok, so I received my new Vision electronics for my Turtle today......I would like to hear from those who own Vision electronics or Evolutions and see what is your favorite method of removing the electronics head from the scrubber without using a 2 meter long prybar.....

Half full 02 cylinders seem to last for 3 long dives anyway......some of those cays look pretty secluded, but I guess you wouldn't have staff, food, and other diving guests......that's half the fun....lol

Well, if I were to do a repair on my unit when I had Classic electronics, I would take a look at the existing wire, and if it were too short to repair, then I would obtain a similar gauge wire with a similar strand pattern, then make a soldered connection splice with a heat shrink tube over it...
