Anybody got a clue what it costs to replace the bladder on a Hydros Pro? Have been teaching in one, lots of pool time, lots of fading. Happy to sell as-is but if a small investment in a new bladder would freshen it up to appeal to a broader audience then I'm all for it.
Flame away!
Hi Everybody!
We will be on the island for NYE - can't wait to say goodbye to 2020. We're a group of 10 with a few kids. Any cool events?
Also, how has the water temp been?
DP is alive and kicking ass! Just returned from Hotel Cozumel. Tell Bernice and Bernado at the front desk that Darren says hi. Cross the street and tell him you heard that the local iguanas bite teenagers. Happened to my 14 year old last week.
My wife loves those stupid rocking chairs! For me, I'll take a MIA layover on the right side of the country any day of the week. Like DFW, they have a Centurion lounge.
Have you checked with Hotel Cozumel and Resort / Dive Paradise? Dive shop is on site and they offer gear lockers. Our favorite way to dive here are the fast boat 2 tank AM dive, return, eat, sleep, then hop on the PM 1 tank boat.
We use Dive Paradise and stay at Hotel Cozumel. Please roll by JP Morgan's Metrotech office and waive to my co-workers after they return.
Where do you stay?
Columbia Deep followed by Columbia Shallow on a Fast Boat from Dive Paradise. Makes a great last day of a trip. No surface interval required and a second dive that lasts as long as your air does. Added bonus, we've had snorkelers above us at least a half dozen times, 3 times, I'd swear they...
I'll be there in July - willing to help! Last time we were at La Perlita (sp?) they were out of Lion Fish! Wasn't the end of the world thought, it forced me to try something else on their menu.
I was in Cozumel the week before they closed the Southern reefs with my dive buddies and back the week after they reopened with my daughter. Reefs and marine line seemed better after the closure but it was also January vs. September.
Currently booked for 7/7 with fingers crossed!
Anything bigger than a pony bottle is usually good enough for Sandals diving!
We were at their resort in Exuma last May and we were limited to 40ft/30 minutes! I've gotten lucky a few times in Negril and Ochoas Rios where I was the only guest showing up for the first dive. Sandal's fuels may...
Currently leaning towards the Teric. Its really the display and the four button layout that have my attention. Since whichever I chose, I will need a new transmitter the playing field is almost level. Teric with transmitter lists for $1445 and the all black D5 with transmitter comes to $1369...
