You can donate air to your buddy with only two second stages. With your configuration you can share with three buddies.
How do you store the three regs?
I think I got now. You can still donate if one of your tanks / first stage fails, right?
First thought when I hear slightly wet is sweat. But then your torso would be wet too.
Second thought is the outlet valve. Every manipulation has the chance to leak a little bit of water.
If we are talking from dive times up to an hour I wouldnt use the thick undergarment. There are good normal underwear on the market like the SF Tech underwaer or 4Elements. i dont like the underwear from Seaskin.
Important is to be well organized on the dive site, e.g. preparing everything for...
It is a difference but not a BIG difference. When you are going for max thermal protection, then neoprene neck seal is your friend.
In my opinion the neoprene neck seal is more durable compared with the latex. For me these two points justify the added costs.
But again its no problem diving with...
Like @admikar i don‘t agree with the second point. The neoprene neck seal is really warmer and i was surprised you choosed the latex seal.
Anyway it is not really bad, but if you change your mind i am sure you can call Franz and switch.
The SF Tech TNT is softer. I would almost say cuddly. (Touch your collegues...)
It is a very little bit warmer. Down in the lake at 6°C you can feel a difference. Is it enough for ten minutes more at depth? I don't know.
The quality of the metal zipper is better. The Seaskin zipper after 25...
Regarding the price, go for a Seaskin (Nova). I have both, the SF Tech TNT and the Seaskin Nova. There is a difference in comfort (touch the SF Tech from your collegue... ). But the price difference is huge.
Hope your LP hose didn’t explode when you opened the tank.
What is so difficult not to mix HP and LP?
there once where first stages with different sizes for the primary second stage ( Mares and Apeks). But this was a third size and not mixable with HP and normal LP. For these connections you...
My list is divided in two parts:
Part One is everything that will get wet and ist stored in a box like suit, regulators ...
Part Two is everything that (hopefully) stays dry and is stored in a bag like Dry Suit undergarment, clothes, tools
The Part One list is sorted in a way that the fist...
I guess that is not true.
The High pressure gauge is directly connectet to the tank (of course via the first stage) and not manipulatet by the first stage. On the gauge you don't have a correction of the ambient pressure.
Foam Rollers are too big. They wont com near the piriformis.
I use the smallest and hardest massage balls from here
I guess you can use any small ball.
