    D630 questions

Hi Orcatorch, I'm interested in purchasing the D630. There has been some discussion about the burn times on several threads here. Does the light have a constant output driver, or does the light output go down significantly over time, e.g. as the voltage drops? What is the lumen output on high...

    Where is the D630?

Hi Orcatorch, I'm interested in purchasing the D630. There has been some discussion about the burn times on several threads here. Does the light output on HIGH go down significantly over time, e.g. as the voltage drops? What is the lumen output after 1hr, 2hrs, 3hrs, 4hrs, 5hrs? Thanks, John

HOG D1 First Stage o-ring size

Thank you for the info, I did not know about the hard seat cuts / torque spec. The more you know. I'll give you a call Tuesday to discuss. ---------- Post added September 7th, 2015 at 12:43 PM ---------- I appreciate your concern with the liability. There's never anything wrong with...

HOG D1 First Stage o-ring size

    I finally found a schema diagram and it is, in fact, an 024. AS568-024 N70 Amazon.cm: 024 Viton O-Ring, 75A Durometer, Black, 1-1/8" ID, 1-1/4" OD, 1/16" Width

HOG D1 First Stage o-ring size

Removing a LPI hose from the 5th port, I unscrewed the whole 5th port fitting from the swivel turret (separating the turret from main body). On reassembly, the big viton o-ring on the turret got pinched. Can someone with a service manual or diagram give me the size of this o-ring? Picture for...

Shearwater Petrel 2 vs. SubGravity H3

That's exactly what I was thinking (although I do use dry gloves 90% of the time). Cinch it down over a dry suit with a thick undergarment and then see how easy it is to hit the buttons. I tried it in the LDS just on my arm and no gloves, and found it a little finicky. T1 was great though...

    Dive comp opinion

In my household we have 6 dive computers, including Suunto D4i watch, Gekko puck, Oceanic Pro Plus console, Veo Nx, various. I finally kicked down for a Petrel, after debating that and the Subgravity (Seabear) H3/T1. My suggestion is buy once, cry once. IMO, the Petrel has the best screen...

    gloves.....and the search continues

Love my kubi's. I put si-tech glove locks on the girlfriends suit since she already had inner rings. Prefer mine for the easy donning and low profile. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Announcing the SubGravity H3 - Powered by SeaBear

I checked them both out in person, next to a Petrel 2. They're both excellent, but I had to pass on the H3 for dry suit diving because I think it would be challenging to hit the buttons with the suit and dry gloves. I think the H3 is perfect for warm water diving, or attaching to a scooter...

Anoindustry diving canister light promotion and give gift away to technique divers

T6 is theoretically ~10% less light then the U2 bin for XML-L (Brightness Bins - Flashlight Wiki). Probably the quality of the driver and cells have a bigger impact though. Props to Ano for a more realistic lumen rating (2300) vs similar lights listing (3000). And the mfr site is actually not...

Anoindustry diving canister light promotion and give gift away to technique divers

Thanks for the info guys. You basically answered my lumens question. It's interesting what different vendors advertise, and I like to understand how they get there (leds, drivers, amps, etc) I know there are factors like light loss due to optics, too. I don't understand the head size answer...
