Diving in Green island or orchid island on the end April or May

Here is a map of mine that has markers of dive shops around Taiwan that all speak English. Taiwan Dive Sites map When I say they speak English, some are more fluent than others of course. If you are diving on Green Island, I'd say Blue Safari is best. If in Kenting, go with CT Diver.

Hammerhead and Manta Ray Dive Sites in SE Asia (any suggestions where to go)

I've looked at a number of places on the internet that claim to be well known for such dives. Trouble is, the populations of hammerheads have dwindled so much, that these places now state the sightings have become rare occurrences. I'd prefer to plan a trip for the Philippines, but I'm open to...

It's a Canon Power Shot D-30 rated for 25 meters. The LED lighting is what makes all the difference. Of course the lighting was twice the cost of the camera. Cant skimp on the lighting. I was zoomed in on the sea snake as he was exiting the coral. I zoomed out as he approached me. Here is a...

VIDEO: My encounter with Thresher Sharks

I went to Monad Shoal this week. It's near Malapascua Island in the Philippines for those who aren't familiar. New to scuba diving and have a general question.

To help with buoyancy, I added some plumbing insulation sleeves to the flex arms of my LED light tray. It looks like this.. The smaller insulation sleeve is plenty buoyant enough and it requires just a small amount. You can trim it with scissors to adjust the buoyancy. It fits very snug as...
