Here is a map of mine that has markers of dive shops around Taiwan that all speak English.
Taiwan Dive Sites map
When I say they speak English, some are more fluent than others of course. If you are diving on Green Island, I'd say Blue Safari is best. If in Kenting, go with CT Diver.
Thanks for the feedback Makhno.
I'm going to take on northern Taiwan next. I have a few sites now but want to get the primary ones on the map. If you or anyone else for that matter, have any insight to northern dive sites that I could add to the map, feel free to contribute here... New Dive...
If anyone is considering scuba diving in Taiwan, I have set up a website that provides information on it.
The name of the site is Taiwan Dive Sites. It's a new source and will be more informative soon. You can visit it here.... Taiwan Dive Sites

I'm an American living in Taiwan, and Fedex is huge here. Taiwan has banned shark fining here now but behind closed doors it continues. Here is a look at it several years ago in Taiwan.... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r65FgUYdBOc

Sweet. I've seen you on Dive Logs
I have a Dive Logs account too.
I think you may know some of my dive buddies who don't use Dive Logs. Christopher Thorn and Lief Mikkelborg. I got my advanced certification with Andy Gray and I believe you did too.
I'll send you a buddy request at Dive Logs...
I've looked at a number of places on the internet that claim to be well known for such dives. Trouble is, the populations of hammerheads have dwindled so much, that these places now state the sightings have become rare occurrences.
I'd prefer to plan a trip for the Philippines, but I'm open to...
You just need to go to My Google Maps and create a map which would consist of one layer. I believe you are limited to ten layers.

I've been putting together a map of the dive sites around Green Island. If anyone wants to use it or share it, feel free to do so, it's the primary reason I made it. At the moment, there are a...
I have one for my Zoop. Works like a charm when downloading to my iPhone 4s. I wanted to do it while traveling without toting around my notebook PC. I am using the Dive Logging app.
When I get home from vacation I transfer it to my notebook and desk top with the Dive Log 5.0 program. All the...
It's a Canon Power Shot D-30 rated for 25 meters. The LED lighting is what makes all the difference. Of course the lighting was twice the cost of the camera. Cant skimp on the lighting.
I was zoomed in on the sea snake as he was exiting the coral. I zoomed out as he approached me.
Here is a...
Put together a highlight compilation of what I captured on video during a span of 25 dives in ten days time. Cant wait till my next trip already. :)

I went to Monad Shoal this week. It's near Malapascua Island in the Philippines for those who aren't familiar. This time of year in the morning at about 5:30 am (sunrise), you can most likely see them. I did three dives each morning for three days. The window of time that they rise from deeper...
Two weeks in the Philippines starting the day after tomorrow. Island hoping Alona Beach (Balicasag), Oslob Cebu (whale sharks), then Malipascua for the thresher sharks.
To help with buoyancy, I added some plumbing insulation sleeves to the flex arms of my LED light tray. It looks like this..
The smaller insulation sleeve is plenty buoyant enough and it requires just a small amount. You can trim it with scissors to adjust the buoyancy. It fits very snug as...
