I didn't read carefully and thought you were asking about Slagbai park, but you asked about STINAPA.
So I looked at their rules here: Diving
And that would indicate that SMB is at least recommended but its unclear what is required and what is recommended.
Since I've never seen divers using...
I agree the distillery is worth a visit.
By the way there is a dirt road cut off that avoids Rincon. Its rough and steep and if you're not careful and the tailgate of your truck is prone to falling open you could spread scuba gear for 100 yards going up the hill.
I think I know someone that...
I got a response today from the dive shop. Here is their response:
Thank you for your question. Our apologies for our delayed response.
Nice that you will be diving with us together with Scuba board group!
On Bonaire, you are only allowed to go Lionfish hunting when being guided by a local...
Well it's been a week with no response from Toucan Divers. I'm thinking about posting in the Bonaire Lionfish Hunters FB group to see what they have to say.
Thanks for asking. I was wondering myself but didn't get around to posting the question.
I sent the question to Toucan Divers. Will post when I get an update.
I'm not sure how often or how many shore dives I'll do but I'd definitely be interested/willing to split a truck rental with a few others. I'm guessing the included 2 daily boat dives will be done in the morning leaving all afternoon (and night) for shore dives.

The dog eating the PP reminds me of the time I opened the envelope containing my brand new PP using a sharp letter opener.
I sliced through the binding of the new PP. I used tape to bind it together and went on to use it for its natural life. In the 10 years I used it no one ever even asked...
I do confirm. Melanie loved the snorkeling and how the crew managed the snorkelers. The crew was helpful and informative. The snorkeling relaxed and easy with a good variety of sites and sea life. They select sites based on current conditions keeping out of strong currents or high waves. She...
I switched to 3.6v lithium. They don't last as long but i bought 4 and a charger so I swap them more frequently. So far (maybe 50 dives) no repeat of full to dead in one dive.
Add me and my wife to the all these lists:
- thankful to Dennis and Roxanne.
- 1st time invaders that meet good people and had a good time
- covid positive after return with reasonably mild symptoms
I'm glad we went!!!
