Check out A-1 diving out of Ranong. Significantly cheaper than the boats out of Khoa Lak and Phuket. Nice Boat. For an extra night you can get a nice motel room cheap (500 baht).

Yes you can swim (snorkel) to shark Bay but its a long swim, much easier to walk over the hill. If you decide to do your open water on Koh Tao check out Big Bubble in Chalok Baan Kow.

Yesterday diving at Southwest Pinnacle in Koh Tao, dove with a Whale Shark for 30 minutes. Just a baby, 5 meters.Magnificent creatures, a fabulous experience. Will go out in the morning to see if we can find him again.
