I once dived with Sea Sports Belize when my wife and I joined a SCUBA/cruise ship event. We also dived Roatan and Coz. It seemed like a place you could get some eating and drinking done.
So, now looking at
It's on its own island but looks pretty close to Belize City.
Doubtful that we would be able to immerse in Belize when we're not diving.
Thoughts and concerns are right on the money.
I'll move the focus to dives with shops in locations that have reasonable access to doctors and an airport. I imagine that will narrow it down. We're not likely going unless the need for these resources is remote, but we probably should at least try...

Pretty sure we want to do dive shop boats and be able to...

Pretty sure we're going to reach out to GulfDiver.net and see what we can get.
Gary at GulfDiver.net needs to update his website...
What is the correct forum for this (anyone want to dive this wreck?):

Yes. Rock N Java. I love that place.
Staying at the Aldora and diving with them is definitely on my Lionfish Container (bucket) List.
I also love the Costa Brava Inn Cozumel across the street. Wonderful gardens and cheap accommodations, a perfect diver's hotel. If all else are full, I...
