I have the 5 mil and it is very warm. It's not magic. I have a 7 mil Bare Elastek which is warmer, but a bear to put on. I agree that Bare hyped the features a little too breathlessly, but if you can get one at a discount, I think it's probably worth it.

I second Marie13 -- Dive Right In Scuba are the drysuit experts. I use them even though I am in New York. If you are anywhere nearby, go visit. Their advice and prices are great.

Diving Cape Cod Bay is an acquired taste! I too am looking at dry suits. A buddy remarked that watching me put my wetsuit on was like watching someone try to put on a truck tire.
