I used to work for SKF so I know all the o-ring sizes too typically, it's just the oem parts that stump me. I don't touch my Cressi T10 SCs however, they have a great resale value. I cant imagine what it must be like for the Dive shops who sell Regs then have to outsource the servicing.

The labor rate is not too bad T-bar, but the parts run the cost right up. Typically looking at $40 - $60 per stage it seems. The stages also get charged at a min 1hr each it appears so anywhere between $200 - $300+ depending on parts.

That's the state of things here, those with the "know how" can charge like a wounded bull. The manufacturers offer no support to the consumer, so we just get hung out to dry as far as pricing. Quality of service through the above mentioned Scubadoctor is exceptional how-ever.
