    Warm water diving and gloves??

Same here. I always wear a full suit and, if it's not forbidden by local laws, gloves.

1 in 14 Cave divers die???????

Nonsense. At least until someone proves it to be true. As with any statistic. Ask that "someone" where his assertion comes from... 3 out of 19 divers are blond. Prove me I'm wrong :-)

    What do I need

Hi, Apart from the technical issues of the computer itself as very well stated by sirpatty79, a thing to keep in mind is that you might have a buddy with which you usually dive. If you have one it would be a good thing to have his/her same computer since algorithms vary from brand to brand and...

Couple to live underwater for 10 days

Don't ask yourself any questions... Italians are just strange :-) BTW I'm Italian... Anyway... they'll stay at 6 to 8 meters (18 - 24 feet circa).

    Small incident

Same thing here. I've learned to double check that the strap is perpendicular to the tank. This very problem seems to happen more often than expected...

    BCD for WOMEN - RECOMMENDATIONS???

I'd say the lady hawk but it's due to the fact that I own an X-wing myself and I love the back-floatation jakets. Take a look (and ask) at "Woman's Views" http://www.scubaboard.com/forumdisplay.php?f=89 Scuba diving seen from our beloved Ladies. It might help.

    3mm enough?

Much depends on depth and if you'll dive in the north or the south. Where will you dive? Beware that you'll most likely find a thermocline at about 14/18 mt that can go down as far as 16 deg Celsius.

Mares Volo Power - plastic rubber separation?

If some piece of gear can't handle 20 dives it's clearly a poor piece of gear and not your fault. Have it replaced.

    Scubapro X-Wing - D400

Hi all. I'm wondering if anybody has any reference to the Scubapro X-Wing and the D400. I've had the chance to dive with both but I can't find anything on the net. If you have any kind of info pls contact me via PM. On the scubapro site there are some downloadable manuals but nothing...

    Back Inflate vs Vest

I have a Scubapro X-Wing back inflate BC. Simply beautiful. Much better than the new Knighthawk. The only thing to remember and to train for is the tendency to over inflate (the scuba's tendency, I mean). If you use it in the correct way there's seldom the need to trim. No problem at all on the...

    Hi from ITALY

Hi all! I'm finally part of the blue!!! My name is Simone and I'm from Italy, Turin. My name, in english, would be Simon since I'm a male but, cliché, Italians are creatives so we add an "e" for males... I just got my OWD and I'm eager to advance through the next steps in this adventure...
