@dberry if what you are saying is true than you would not be able to isolate a reg in the event of a free flow. PfcAJ is correct the manifold is operating as it should.
Are you using a 90° connector between the reg and the lp hose? I found that really helped the reg sit nice and also reducing any pulling on the mouth when turning your head.
