That is a bit strange considering that you typically show up at the shop first, get your rental gear, and then hop into the shuttle to go down to the boat.

I spent a few days diving with Rocket Frog Divers and it was a great experienced. Very organized, great DMs, nice relaxing shop environment. Would not hesitate to dive with them again.

When we dive Erie we usually go down to Osprey dive charters in Westfield NY. I don't know of any active Canadian charters in or near the long point area. You might want to check in with Dan's Dive Shop - if anyone would know it would probably be them.

You might want to check with the dive shop about the temps. When I lived in Cape Town most of our summer diving tended to be on the Atlantic side, and I would definitely wear a 7mm for that side. False Bay you will do fine with a 5mil.

Haven’t seen silo yet but read the Wool series a while ago. Thoroughly enjoyed it and will definitely be watching silo soon.

I’ve had the Kraken housing for a year now and am happy with it. I have three dive buddies who also bought it and everyone likes it. No-one has had any issues.

Will second this recommendation. Dived with LTD in April and it was a superb experience. Fantastic north wall dives, so many sharks, and amazing crews.

Same here. I’ve done three trips to the empress and the warmest I’ve had was 39F.

The last time I was back I did four days Sodwana and three days Aliwal Shoal. It was a perfect mix.
