Beqa Shark Dive - Which Operator?

I'd like to hear peoples experiences of the shark dive at Beqa Lagoon, and most importantly, which is the best operator to dive with? Fiji Shark Dive/Beqa Adventure Divers or Aquatrek Naturally, both claim to be the best and the original! Thank you :-)

    North Island Diving

There are liveaboards available but if you're limited to one day, then you're still ok as it's around an hour out and an hour back from tutukaka marina which still allows for a couple of great dives.

Liveaboard Quality and Reef Health for GBR

Hey. I have been out with Reef Encounter on two different occasions, and would go back in a heartbeat. They run a service called 'Top Deck' which gives you a dedicated dive guide, state room and a few other bell and whistles. You pay for the privilege but in my opinion its worth every cent...

    North Island Diving

Hey there. You'll love the Poor Knights - ranked in the top 10 best sub tropical dives in the world. Being a NZ'der, I've done them several times and they are spectacular. Definitely dive with Yukon Dive if you can. Smaller, more intimate and diving tailored to your comfort and experience...

Aqualung Axiom and ProHD comparison questions

It's the Axiom (non I3) for me. I take it with me everywhere as I'm more comfortable in my own gear and the BC is critical to this. Between the Wrapture, Griplock and overall comfort, I couldn't go past it and have enjoyed diving in it every time.

    Lookin to get new reg

I dive exclusively with a Sherwood SR2, and I don't go anywhere in the world without it now. This being said, there will be many of this forum with vastly more experience than me, so I can only share my opinion/experience. I'm not a pro by any means, and some will be able to give you much...

    Espiritu Santo - Vanuatu

Thanks for the feedback everyone. Ok, so Deco Stop seems to be the place to stay, and I was coming to that conclusion also, so that's a box ticked. It also appears that its unanimous that Alan Powers is the operator of choice, so again, I appreciate everyone sharing their experience. One...

    Espiritu Santo - Vanuatu

Hey folks, I am in the process of organising my next dive trip, and I've settled on Espiritu Santo, Vanuatu. Wreck diving appeals to me, and between the President Coolidge, Million Dollar Point and the USS Tucker, there seems to be plenty to get stuck into. A few reefs for good measure and...

'Hi' to everyone from a 'downunder' diver

Hi everyone, I'm Don, and I'm from New Zealand. I discovered a love of diving only in the past couple of years, and its become a passion that I pursue at every opportunity! Fortunately, I've been able to dive Maui, Australia, Fiji and a number of New Zealand's top spots in the past 18 months...
