FALL DOWN GO BOOM IN BONAIRE

Thank you John, very helpful information. As said, this will be my first time in Bonaire. I don't think that "slick is the problem", but it is the loose jagged ironshore (dead coral) of various sizes, that will shift under your feet ! Add to this, over a 100 lbs. of CCR and bailout bottles, and...

FALL DOWN GO BOOM IN BONAIRE

I'll post this question here, as it is related to CCR diving. I will be traveling soon to Bonaire with my CCR. I read that when entering and exiting on shore dives, a treking pole (walking stick) is very helpfull. Because of all the rocks and broken up ironshore, it "can be easy" to fall down...

Where do people go for parts?

"None"? In the US, I can order any Poseidon Se7en part I want, and I do emphasize any. There are a couple of places to order, but Dive Gear Express is my normal go to place, just hard to beat their service !

Question Any experience with CCR training on Oahu?

I just this year finished my PADI TEC-100 there in Oahu! David Rosario was involved with my instruction! I can guarantee you that you Will Not regret taking your Se7en course with David! He makes learning fun! He is an absolute Good person!

CCR diving on Bonaire- under one roof

After finishing up six weeks of CCR diving here on Grand Cayman, I want to plan our next trip to Bonaire, for a two week’s stay. If possible and for booking simplicity, I’m thinking that everything under one provider’s roof sounds like the best plan ! It looks like Buddies and Captain Don’s are...

Just curious, anyone using solid state sensors?

wetb4, Yes I am using them on my Poseidon Se7en + Tec CCR. Two SSO2's in the E-module with a M-28 monitoring that CAN Bus, and a SSO2 in my C-Pod (3ed. cell in inhale CL tee) with a second M-28 just for that. I LOVE these SSO2 sensors. Spot on accurate, fast response and never needing...

    Question OPTIMA CM QUESTION :

Optima CM Questions : Superlyte27 did a great job on his review, but after reading all the posts, I left a little confused on it’s total weight ! In his review 31 whopping pounds was stated. Then in post # 231 he said ready to dive he recalled about 22 pounds ! I need to go lighter than my...

What does CJEN stand for rjack? Also my Se7en’s BOV has the built in ADV, as I’m sure you know. Even de-tuned as much as allowed, it triggers fairly easy dropping fast with my BMCLs ! Hence a sliding shut off at my BOV. Please educate me on this, as I respect your knowledge Sir. Thanks, Craig

How about I throw out this idea ! There would be however, two extra steps when connecting or disconnecting. However you could end up with pretty much “zero” water getting into your CCR side. To connect : 1. Pull the plastic lock. 2. Slightly slide the inline valve open, to pass a small amount...

    CCR hose and fittings configuration

You are correct in that the QC4 emits less water than the QC6 when being connected UW ! And as I recall reading in Swageloc specs, it is stated there ! I guess that is the price we pay to go for the higher flow rated QD !
