Love my SeaLife Micro 2.0 w/o lights

Thanks for the response, Trailboss123. That is exactly what I want underwater, simplicity. I have the flash and tray that came with my 1400 and I'm getting descent pictures less often than bad pictures. I wonder if I change to just a video/camera light if that would help a lot?

Love my SeaLife Micro 2.0 w/o lights

@Trailboss123, I'm thinking of upgrading from my DC1400 to either the 2.0 or DC2000. I like the idea of point and shoot with great outcomes and not a lot of bulky gear and underwater fuss. Can you give your input so far of the DC2000 over the 2.0 and your particular setup? TIA!

Favorite Memories from the SB Invasion 2018 Cozumel

Dennis and Roxanne, thank you both so much for a great week (and a half!) of laughter, great diving and meeting new, awesome folks! We had such a great time in Coz with you all and thank you guys for making my mom, Melody, feel so welcome topside! We can't wait for the next adventure we get to...

    ScubaBoard Invasion Central 2018 Cozumel

WiFi is not cooperating to post a pic but seemingly, most laundered items range from $.50-$.75 each. Front desk told me it is generally a 6 hour turn around.

    ScubaBoard Invasion Central 2018 Cozumel

Safe travels everyone! We got in yesterday around noon. Rained pretty much all day, but still was great to be here and begin to unwind! Scubajeg1, we’ll be at the pool today probably about 5 or 6. Taking Kiersten to Dolphinaris today to be a dolphin trainer. Hope to meet you guys today. We were...

    ScubaBoard Invasion Central 2018 Cozumel

Hello everybody! I haven't posted in a while but wanted to see if anyone will be arriving early. Robin, Kiersten and I will be in a week from today, Thursday early afternoon! Will probably try to get a few dives in before we start boat dives Sunday.

    New diver from Cleveland

Welcome, BeerNye! From central Ohio here and dive Gilboa pretty regularly when teaching and doing checkouts. Let me know if you'd like to hook up there sometime and I can show you around!

Night diving - what is it like?

Night diving rocks! As mentioned earlier, if you are a little apprehensive, go with a larger group that agrees to stay close together. It will help calm your nerves, give you more light and allow you to enjoy your first couple night dives that much more.

Favored Brand of BC's and Regulators

I think most of us will answer this question/poll with our personal preference over years of trying several different name brands and styles. Thus, you'll have a TON of opinions/options to choose from! I dive an Aqualung Axiom BC and occasionally still dive my Zeagle Ranger BC. I love Zeagle...

    ScubaBoard Invasion Central 2018 Cozumel

Just booked our flights out of Cleveland for $453 each! Even though I am MUCH closer to Columbus International Airport, the savings on flights out of Cleveland allowed me to add a couple days in Coz on the front side! We'll be arriving Thursday, June 14th if anyone else is getting there early...

    ScubaBoard Invasion Central 2018 Cozumel

I'm not sure how boat assignments work on these invasions or if that is left entirely to the dive operation. But, I'm sure my by then 11 year old daughter would love to be on a boat with similar aged kids. Might not be a bad idea to keep them together as well for depth limitations. Just a...

    ScubaBoard Invasion Central 2018 Cozumel

Thanks for the response, Cardzard! Would love to get back to Coz! I took my daughter to Bonaire in June and she loved it! She crushed 19 dives that week!

    ScubaBoard Invasion Central 2018 Cozumel

I see the price is $960 for double occupancy and 12 and under are free in the same room. My daughter is 10 and is also a scuba diver! How much would the dive package be to add her to dive with us? Thanks!

    Bonaire with the DC2000

    Dressel Divers or Scuba Caribe?

Brad, Sadly, I've never been to DR. They decided to get married there for the typical caribbean feel without breaking the bank. His fiancee has been there and really enjoyed it, albeit, she is not a diver. A dear friend and course director did his CDC there and obviously did quite a bit of...

    Dressel Divers or Scuba Caribe?

BradMM, To echo Trailboss123, Dressel does a fantastic job. If you go their website, you can enjoy a 20% discount if you prepay for your dive package before arrival. My wife and I used them in Cozumel and will definitely use them when we go to DR for my nephews wedding next year. Have fun!
