    A fish from Roatan

They are brownish, not white like the giants and it was small like the branching as I said in my last post. This picture was taken from about only 1 inch away so they appear much larger than they are.

    A fish from Roatan

No this is much smaller. The tops of these (the white button part) is less that 1/4 in diameter and the stalks are probably about 1". As stated I thought maybe branched but it did not have the same "branches" around the outside. Thanks though

    A fish from Roatan

Two more IDs I forget to request in my previous posts #1 I am sure this will be an easy one for someone. This was a large fish, probably 20 -24 inches - looking for ID of larger fish, not the remora. #2 What kind of anemone? Thought possibly branched but not quite right for that and...

A number of IDs needed from Roatan

Don't think #2 is a mat tunicate - the stuff seemed less "leathery" and more fluffy - seemed to be floating above rather than be attached to the reef. #4 - the lip does have stripes, but the shape of the shell looks different. Anyone know for sure? #5 - Variable Boring Sponge does look correct...

    Critter ID

Also in looking at it more the tentacles are in the central area - normally zoanthids are around the outside of the center.

What is this? Found in Belize at Half Moon Caye Wall dive site.

I know this is a bit old but this looks like a Giant Tunicate to me.
