Suggestions for ultimate three day diving itinerary march

Florida can offer everything - but the state is large and 3 days worth of diving won't be enough to do the springs up north, and the wrecks off the Keys unless you have an unlimited budget and a pilot with you - and even then you'll feel rushed. Up north or west theres lots of cave/ cavern...

    Blue Heron Bridge Trolls III

ugh ... "Well I got up to take a look at the water this morning at the park. The VIZ in my coffee looks better than what's in the park on the west side near the fishing pier. The east side might have had 1-3 feet in the shallows, but any deeper and it looked the same as the west side." wish...

    Blue Heron Bridge Trolls III

Anyone dive the bridge this morning? I'm looking at the bridge as potentially my only option to dive this weekend - boats thumbed, and shore dives looking a little choppy ... wondering if conditions at BHB are still in the terrible to awful range? I'm wondering specifically about bacteria...

Anyone shore dive doubles in Broward?

Simply put, then you've never met Jenny. Normally I might be inclined to agree with you, as I am the kind of diver that would tend towards preferring a boat dive - however having dove dozens of times with Scuba Jenny I can tell you that the typical restrictions on time that might not apply to...

Replacement Straps for Mares Avanti Quattro?

And I've heard that so many times - i've been on boats with guys with the same fins saying they've had them for 20+ years. It's one of the reasons I bought these fins aside from the fit - because I've heard so much about durability. I had roughly 20-25 dives on them, and pop ... the rubber...

Replacement Straps for Mares Avanti Quattro?

I think I saw those straps I .... were they these? Amazon.com : XS Scuba Universal Spring Fin Straps : Sports & Outdoors Looks like the larger post mount adapter does have a little triangular nub that could be easily shaved off- is that what you did? And how do you like the straps? Thanks!

Replacement Straps for Mares Avanti Quattro?

I busted a rubber post mounted heel strap on my Mares Avanti Quattro + fins, and I'd like to replace them with a quality set of metal spring straps. I've found several replacement straps on various sites but I can't be sure which ones are actually compatible. The outermost part of the plastic...

    Blue Heron Bridge Trolls III

There he is- thats the little guy. There were 3 or 4 of them scurrying around the tire just southwest of the beach by the little jungle gym thing. Cool looking critters. Peppermint Shrimp or Candycane shrimp is pretty apt.

    Snorkel

I recently completed OW for the second time a few months ago, (it had been many years since I dove so I wanted to refresh everything) - my NAUI instructor required the use of the snorkel in the pool and on all training dives, and he himself wore his snorkel on mask during all training dives...

    Blue Heron Bridge Trolls III

I just watched a news update with palm beach enviro managers saying the algae is non toxic - traced from c5 canal coming from lake O - there may be small scattered patches near peanut island they said but it should be safe for swimming this weekend - they said if you see a patch somewhere just...
