It was around 1pm (lunch time?) but I don't believe their behaviour was related to feeding or cleaning. Most likely to do with tending eggs. Seas were calm and warm for several days.

This is a common problem with the Nova 200, and Scubapro are aware of it. I was advised to solder a ridge onto the contact plate (it has a solid centre with a ring surrounding it). I haven't performed the fix yet, but it is apparently successful.
