How much for the men’s?

So is this snorkeling from a boat or from the shore? I’m headed to Cancun in 3 weeks

Wow! That’s more than I’d ever imagine lol. So it’s $125 to snorkel? Plus you have to catch the ferry to Isla Mujeres? What’s that cost? Cancun seems to have high priced excursions lol at least compared to other places I’ve been.

So I take it it’s extremely rare for a whale shark to pop up on a dive while in Cancun?? I guess I’ll start saving for Indonesia, hope I’m not too old by the time I save enough lol

Am I reading this right? You can’t scuba dive with whale sharks? I’m traveling to Cancun at the end of the month and was really looking forward to possibly diving with them

OK. Cool thanks a bunch. This will be my first time diving a steel tank and was excited to put it to use. I'll be sure to only fill it with air and have it tumbled when I return : )

I had plans to put it to use this weekend on a trip to mermet springs, I doubt a whipping or tumble could be done before I leave on Friday, is It something that can wait until I return maybe?

Maybe it's the color of the lights that is making it look so bad? My concerns are the small dark spots, I can't tell if it's rust or not or if I should even worry about it at all since it passed hydro it should pass the visual inspection at my dive shop shouldn't it?

Just an update for everyone. Finally got a reply back from faber and dropped the tanks off at the hydro facility. Received a call today saying that they would be ready for pick up this afternoon and unfortunately one of the tanks failed, specifically the one that I posted pictures of the lines...

Still haven't received a reply from faber. I emailed them @ info@divefaber.com two days ago. I know that my request is the least of their concern but was wondering how long I should expect to wait for a reply?

@rjgiddings Just curious, why would you only use aluminum in the tropics? Wouldn't I need to be concerned with determining the REE number before hydro if I want them plus rated? Sorry I'm new to all of this

So is there anyway way to get the REE number maybe from faber by giving them the serial number or something? I wouldn't mind emailing them to find out if it's possible.

Sweet! That's good news at least. The other doesn't show any signs of streaking like this, it's nice and smooth. I will see about having them hydroed sometime today or maybe later this week. I never found any REE stamp on either tank. How do I go about having them plus rated when hydroed?
