when leaving the Loop was it below your SP and did you switch to OC (new version: "Bail"? If "yes" the question is... does the SF2 keep adding O2 into the loop when your in bail mode... i am pretty sure it doesn't. BUT! I will test this to be certain. You can test this pretty easy. in the water...

Scuba Force does have shorter hoses for the sf2 in the price list. personal... if you diving a ready to dive unit.. just cut them to your personal length, usually 2-6 ribs. i swapped to Cooperhoses, never looked back..there worth it.
