To be specific, it is the S&S TTL Converter III for Nikon on MDX-D300s housing. Thanks!
I am using LED500DX as well. My experience with the light using 8 fully charged NiMH rechargeable batteries did not get me anywhere. It turned into low light mode in about 11 minutes. However, when I use 3 Li-Ion rechargeables batteries (each 3.7V; 2100mah), it survive the whole 50 mins dive...
HI there,
Further to your update in Sept 09, I thought S&S is going to annouced details of the new MDX-D300x housing. When will the new housing be available? I need this in order to decide whether I should keep on waiting or to get something else before my next dive trip.
Thanks...
Bill,
What is the burn time when you use AA rechargeable batteries? I have the 500 too but seems that the AA rechargeables do not give me the time that I want.
Vince
That's a great news. I will wait for this housing. For the time being, need to dig out my old Nikonos V for the upcoming dive trip. Please keep me posted when further news is available on this new housing.
Thanks,
Vincent
just brought the LED500 because of its color temp of 6500K closer to daylight and also not using proprietory batteries. Had considered LED1000 but worried about the color temp of 8000K may be just a bit too blue.
I suspect that the new D300s may not fit in MDX-D300 housing because of the slight change in the layout of the back panel and positions of some buttons plus an addition of a new button for video mode. I am wondering if Sea & Sea has any plan to modify the MDX-D300 housing to fit the new camera...
I am seriously considering the S&S D700 housing but cannot find too many hands-on review on this housing. Recently heard from someone saying that there may be some design faults on this housing hence stop production so quickly. Personnally, I believe the quality of S&S housing since I used to...
I am interested in the Sea & Sea D700 housing. Would appreciate it if Sea & Sea could inform me the both the weight (above & underwater) of MDX-D700 and its dimension. I just cannot find this info in their official web site.
Thanks.
I am considering various housing for my D70. One of the consideration is the quality of the port. Could anyone tell me whether there is any significant difference in term of the front lens quality of ports from different makers, such as Ikelite, Aquatica, Nexus etc.
Thanks.
