Trying to get an old Interspiro FFM mask in working order. Does anybody know the IP for the Divator MKII? Even better, does anyone have the service manuals for it?
Best regards
Jordi
I am a new RB diver and I am diving the KISS Classic. In the last dive the reading from one of the cells started shifting erratically. Wiggling the cable at the point of attachment to the sensor head or swapping to another cable solved the problem so the issue is a bad connection. I have now...
Hi Axxel57. We corresponded about the SL24 service kits a couple of years ago. I got the regulator serviced at my diveshop about a year ago but for the price they are taking (160 Euro for the whole 1st+2 2nd and no chance to service only the 1st) and the age of the regulator this is simply not a...
Hi guys. I understand this is an impossible question because there are way to many factors to weigh in but I give it a shot.
I am considering buying a KISS classic that is 20 years old and has not been dived for a while. The owner is a buddy I fully trust, an experienced rebreather diver with...
Hi JohnN. If you are cheap make them yourself! Or flip them and you get a second use.
There are quite a few old threads on how to make LP seats here. Although I know nothing about HOG second stages, the Excel file attached was shared a while ago and contains specs for many brands, HOG...
Thank you Axxel57. It was in position but the lever was not completely parallel because there is some wiggle room for the barrel. I will test it again this week.
Hi guys. I use an Apeks ATX40 with a DS4 on my stage cylinder and diving in cold water (16 deg C down to 2 in the Swedish winter). Last winter the second stage freeflowed often and this disappeared when water temperature became higher. I swapped the second stage for another one and decided to...
I am afraid all regs with a non-rubber flexible cover disintegrate eventually. Here is my example of a nice Seemann SL600 disintegrated cover. I am tempted to try the 3D printing option but I never come around creating the STL file. A very nice breathing second stage waiting for a replacement...
I am looking into the Apeks setting tools to adjust the lever height in second stages, the AT68 for ATX and the AT69 for TX regulators. They are not cheap but nothing is cheap in the diving world but each regulator family seems to have its own.
In the end all the tool does is to check the...
Hi guys. I have a Dacor D20 in mint condition that I would like to get into the water. What bothers me is the special swivel coupling port that connects to the octopus. I am referring to piece 169 in the schematics attached. I would simply like to plug that port and use the regular 3/8 for...
Hi again. I see now that you live in Sweden. Jocke Jarsmo at Linköpingsdykcenter has serviced my SL-24s before. I think I paid 1500 swedish crowns for it
Hi N. It is possible to get service kits for Seemann regulators. Unfortunately I do not know where. I have been extensively looking for them and have not been very successful.
I know they are available because my dive shop can service them but unfortunately they do not want to sell them to me...
Hi Roland. I found your post now. It was crosslinked with a previous post of mine on a Spiro Pioneer regulator (Spiro Pioneer Service Manuals). I believe mine is identical to yours with the difference that the Yoke black handle says SPIRO on mine and Aqualung in yours. I got mine from an old...
Hi Umuntu. Brilliant, thanks a lot! I did get a Russian version which Google translate helped me out with but it was not the real thing. I have found service kits for it which are a bit pricey but I may give it a try. The best for me would be to convert it to a DIN first stage. Knowing that...
Axxel57 that would be brilliant. If you give me your address via messenger I can post it to you. You will find me easily with my full name
Jordi Altimiras. Cheers
Jordi
I understand. In that case what I have will not work. The body is pretty scratched with tool marks around the LP and the U port. I attach a picture. There is also a number 84 engraved above the serial number. Best
Sure. It is a DIN first stage.
Serial number engraved in the casing is 51777. I can take pictures from the side of the body but they will not show much. The ports available are labeled "R", "LP", "U" and "HP". Any particular picture you are interested in?
