Greetings to all you in the PNW. I will be moving up to the Sponkane area next week and am trying to find out if there are any diving opertunities in the area. I am looking forward to diving in the Puget Sound area when I can make it over there.
Most of my diving experience is in the...
I am getting a bunch of astericks in the url after the "www." What is the news source of the story? I may have dove with this gentelman. 4 yrs. ago I went free diving in Alaska, and the guide had graduated from Humbolt!
How sad.
I too am looking to get out of California. SCUBA is a part of my stratagy in locating a new place to live. Since we are already used to the cold water and giant kelp here in CA, I am looking at the Pacific NW (Puget Sound area). It offers: World Class Beautiful Diving, Low cost of living (as...
Sounds like a blast. Sorry I will have to miss it. My wife is telling me that I have to lay off the diving for a while and spend time with the family. :no

I went diving in St. Thomas 2 years ago and used Blue Island Divers. They were absolutly great. They have kept in contact with me over the last two years and have been able to answer lots of USVI questions for me. Here is a link to their site:

Welcome to Nor Cal diving! Everything you have heard here so far I agree with. Monterey and Carmel are probably your best beginning spots. (Check out A Divers Guide to Montery and A Divers Guide to Nothern California by Bruce Watkins). You should be able to find them in any local dive shop...
I would not recommend diving monestary at night unless you have already familar with it during the day. It is an advanced dive site, the beach sand is more like very small pebels giving you very unsure footing. The shoreline is very steep. Entry and exit are difficult even in the best of conditions.
I just attemted to send a message to support@scubaboard.com and received an undeleiverable mail - return to sender.
<TT>This is the Postfix program at host sb02.smbdata.net.I'm sorry to have to inform you that your message could notbe delivered to one or more recipients. It's attached...
I would like to thank Chuck. I have seen MOF/NMOF all over this board and had no idea what it meant. I knew if I was just patient, the meaning would eventually surface. :crafty:
