It sounds like Grand Bahama has the best diving from what I can find so I’m looking there

Going to spend a few days in the Bahamas with a non-diving friend. I’m looking for dive shop and resort recommendations on the beach, where there is good diving and walkable to restaurants/bars/shopping. Any suggestions places to stay and dive shops or at least what area to stay in? Thank you!

You guys were so great last time for Oahu recommendations now I need another for Poipu, Kauai. This is a last minute trip booked yesterday, my husband and I will be there next week Dec 19 - 25th staying in Poipu. Any DS people can recommend? We're both experienced and prefer small groups...

Will be there a week and will do a few days of diving. Husband is at a conference for part of it so I’ll be diving solo a couple of days most likely.

I thought I would give a quick update post dive trip. As I stated originally my surgery was July 23, 2018 and on October 13, 2018 I spent 2 weeks in the Cook Islands diving Rarotonga and Aitutaki which was phenomenal! Raro was a giant stride off the back of the boat which was no trouble...

Thanks everyone! I'm feeling more confident that I should be able to dive in October. And mine is titanium as I didn't get an option which was fine. It is so nice to hear the success stories from people who have experienced the surgery. I'm extremely hopeful!

Considering Rarotonga and Aitutaki in October 2018 (2 months from now). Any recommendations on places to stay and dive shops and is it worth it? Considering French Polynesia (Bora Bora and Morea) as well. I'm not seeing much for trip reports for either one at least not recent. Thank you...

Anyone have any experience resuming diving post Cervical Surgery? I had C5 and C6 Anterior Cervical Discectomy Fusion on July 23rd, 2018. I feel great and will be doing physical therapy and building strength back up soon. Looking for anyone who has had similar surgery and how long they stayed...

Any one have any suggestions on the best area to dive from? I'm learning the northwest side of the island or southern out of the Ponce area may be the best. What are the actual chances of being able to make it out to Mona Island and does anyone do day trips? We will be going in November...

I do have dry gloves which are nice. It's my neck seal I've had issues with and had it replaced over the years.
