Agree 100%. Was pointing out that SPGs and everything else fail in a variety of different ways. Again, I agree. The sentiment I don't agree with (which you don't seem to be pushing) is that if you use AI you need an SPG backup, but if you use an SPG no backup is necessary.

Well, sometimes. A friend had his SPG get stuck, so it showed 80bar even after he ran out of air. When mine failed the gauge still worked but was free flowing air out of the swivel joint. With AI, I'll know that something is wrong immediately because my SAC/GTR will be out of whack.
