Hello people,
I have searching for a conversion of a poseidon cyklon 5000 first stage to a M26 fillet. Does someoane know if there is any manufacturer that does a kit to convert a normal cyklon 5000 to a M26 type? Basically I need the stem that threads in the regulator body and the round part...
Here is the light at -40 on a Russian Maliutka submarine. This is Black Sea with less than 2 m visibility with 6 degree water. Light lasted all dive (65 mis) at full power. Batteries were 70 % full after dive.
I suspect the batteties still made contact even if the body was partially unscrewed. No batteries did not leak and tgey were still charged 80%. I suspect some electrolisys happened there because of the residual currents. So always remove batteries at the end of day and wash away all the seawater.
This happends if you leave batteries in , even with the canister unscrewed partially, and a damp with seawater undergarment over in the diving bag. :(
Canister integrity seems unaffected and the light still works.
I got mine on Aliexpress.
By thd way
The light had it's first long deep dive at 40 meters . No issues. Batteries hold good even with the light at full power
yep. that is definitvly what to do, and the safest when talking about li-ion
PS: I took mine during wk to a 38 meter wreck in black sea and all other divers were really impressed by the amount of light it gives.
Normally you use no "restractor" mate. just use single ender boltsnap and when you want to do anything else with the left hand just clip the light to the shoulder D-ring. Retractor means trouble and entanglement. :)
310 eur is a huge price. I got mine here:

I hope it is the new version. I a nou in search for some metal glands because as i read on this topic it seems that is the weak point of this flashlight.
