    Bonaire's Future

Its sad but inevitable the ships will arrive. They have worked very hard to preserve the Island and reefs beauty and I am confident they will go to extreme lengths to do so. I have faith in the Bonarians to police their gem of an Island but if they dont or cannot then unfortunately this will...

Ear ache 13 days after last dive.

A doctor I dove with in Costa Rica perscribed 50/50 White Vinegar and Warm Water. Said its a great treatment on the go and rivals his perscriptions. I had a bad clog/ache that was gone very quickly after trying this.

    Fins, Fins and more Fins!!!

I very much agree with this. My only input is if you do go with a split there are different stiffness/rigidity aspects of different splits. I get teased all the time for diving a pair of TUSA's but they are the ideal stiffness for a split/ diving the variety of dives I participate in. I have...

I echo the 7mm suit as it can be worn many places even if its a little much for some. I would also be sure it was a one piece without the hood attatched. Eventually you will own the gammut of suits, I think I have seven including my dry suit. Then by all means piece your gear together!!! We all...

ATR's new interior design was introduced on the ATR 42-500, with a completely reworked and extensively soundproofed passenger cabin. The new-look interior offers 40 percent more volume in the overhead storage bins, with each bin unit sized at 2 meters long for outsized carry-on baggage. These...

As for the overhead, I just got back from Bonaire and the ATR has very little overhead space. They ramp-checked all bags bigger than a lap...

    Hard Sole Booties for Bonaire?

Just got back a week ago and I brought two sets of fins, one strapped with hard sole boots for the shore stuff and fitted fins for the boat. Worked out great. By the way my buddie got a few barbs from an urchent thru the side of the boot, be careful where you step especially night diving.

a lot of our equipment could not be decontaminated as the stuff we were in was really bad. Any latex rubber, even after decon became the consistency of newspaper the next day. It was a good opportunity to buy new gear. Is that what happened to my seals????
