    Shark Tooth Dive FL

My family has done probably 8 trips for 18-ish dives. I don't know that we've counted but between us all I'd say we have a dozen smallish megs (1"-3+"). hundreds or "regular" sharks teeth, a dozen horse teeth, one big mammoth tooth, countless dugong bones. A couple of turtle scoots and one...

    First aid kits

@Bowers is a better authority, but in addition to not knowing how to use items inside another big issue I see in Scouts is people that don't even know what is in the kit, or where to find what they might need inside the kit. Get something sized appropriately for the activity. Open it, learn...

Porpoise- The regulator that revolutionised diving

He reverse engineered patents, part time, for a living and then got ripped off. I'm not diminishing what he accomplished, but when I say it out loud it has an interesting ring to it.

7 @ al80 1 @ al80, current eddy hydro but bad alloy, looking to retire it. 1 @ al40 1 @ al6 1 @ lp72 @couv we need to work on a trade. It doesn't really fit any of my other weighting schemes. Would be great for you to get to use it. Hydro'ed earlier this year.

Dive Pro's, what are your thoughts on a 15 week OW course?

I'd love the opportunity. Not available in a financially reasonable way. A&M Galveston has a program. Not sure of it's level of thoroughness.

Looking for Recommendations for Key Largo dive op

This is a tough call any given day. Both the wrecks and the reefs will have a lot of fish and critters around. If you don't care about the ship, the reefs will give the better bottom time. There is definitely the possibility for different critters at depth, i.e. the goliath grouper Lewis88...

Diveline - vaporware that no one is excited about

what runs through the wire/tether line? I'd encourage more text in the video telling folks what the UI is communicating. I could follow the arrowhead moving in the circle. I could see the "distance" reading. The rest was nebulous for me.

BP/W for a totally newbie diver?

Would the diving you do that requires four BP/W combos, be fixed with one BCD? Or would you likely have four Buddy Commandos as well? Just trying to understand what it is that you're saying. I would guess most people have multiple BP/W setups because they don't want to reconfigure their gear...

Looking for Recommendations for Key Largo dive op

You almost described Quiescence. And you may have already found them. Small boats, near valet service but you will be asked to set up your gear the first time and verify operation before the boat leaves the dock. But yes, they are a "full boat" charter for now. $450 for half a day. Home |...
