Cape Cod... too dangerous or okay?

I have to echo Rich! Also, I don’t know if I ever thanked you for taking a new again diver under your wing and teaching me about diving Newport. Rich, thanks for adding the video! I had forgotten about that. Erik

    Diving the Keys' Molasses Reef

@ROUS I’m curious which dive op you used. I haven’t been diving on Molasses Reef in over 40 years, ‘81 was the last time. Thinking it’s time to get back. Thanks for the video, Erik

Thanks for the review. It’s fun to read about other people’s dive adventures, even if they’re somewhere you will probably never get to. Erik PS Now I have to look up info on the sex trade in Zanzibar.:p

Buddys or Sand Dollar for certifying 10/12 yos?

Yeah, every time we go through the numbers we find that we’re better off staying at someplace like Sand Dollar or Den Laman, using Dive Friends, and renting a truck ourselves. Plus, those 2 places have a better view than Buddy’s.

Buddys or Sand Dollar for certifying 10/12 yos?

Do both! Stay at Sand Dollar and do the kid’s classes through Buddy’s! This is a very workable option. Dive Friends operates the facilities at Sand Dollar. This is coming from someone who doesn’t have kids, but whose wife took classes from Dive Friends. Dive Friends has some good trainers, you...

    Bonaire once-in-a-lifetime vacation

As mentioned above, there are sidewalks much of the way into town from harbour village. Where there is no sidewalk, the area next to the road is easily walked with no fear of being too close to the road. I’ve walked fro Den Laman to B2B on a number of occasions and it’s a fun walk. Erik

    Bonaire once-in-a-lifetime vacation

The other plus for harbour village is you have sidewalks pretty much the whole way, and Between 2 Buns is right around the corner.

AA awards ORD-BON avail 16K RT (Feb 2025)

Don’t like being a neigh sayer, but 90-120 minutes at MIA is tight for people with Global Entry if they have checked bags. Last Feb it took us about 90 minutes to get through the reentry point, mainly because of waiting for luggage. We don’t have GE and had to wait around 25 minutes just for the...

    Daydreaming of Curacao

In Curaçao, isn’t that anybody who has an alcoholic drink on the rocks at the end of the dive day? Just verifying how to earn that cert card.
