This may be a silly question... Even over a 5MM wet suit sleeve, my computer has nearly 6" of additional strap. I've noticed the same thing with other computers worn by other divers. Why so long? Is this to allow sufficient strap length over a dry suit? I'm avoiding starting work this morning...

We just got back from a trip with 10 dives on this reg. Very pleased with how well it worked. We were both able to easily fine tune the air flow and our corresponding air consumption over the 10 dives so that we maximized our underwater time. Couldn't be happier!
