    Considering buying a pony/back-up tank.

I want to get a pony/back-up tank. I do dive with a partner, But I also like to be self sufficient. Better to depend on myself 1st. There are numerous sizes and configurations. I just cannot seem to sort it out. A LP30 seems sufficient. Not sure best way to mount or carry. I want it to be a none...

Getting cold, time for the 3mm wetsuit. How much lead to add?

I am presently diving with 10lb, using a AL80 tank. Neutral buoyant. I weigh 210# and wear an 3mm XL. The Dive Center/boat that I am diving with this weekend does not loan weights. So I need to purchase ahead of time. I'm guessing maybe 4lb.

    Faber Steel 139

Hey, I have figured out I am an Air Hog. I have been online looking at the Faber 100, 120, 139 tanks. Is it worth the money to go with a 139 or should I just go with a 100?? I did dive a 100 in Pompano and I had plenty of air and stayed down as long as everyone else diving 80s. An 80 just...

Yep, Sometimes diving with a guide sucks. Every time I stop to look at something or shoot a photo or video, I have to then chase after the guide or be left behind. Uses up allot of air chasing the guide.

    Ceiling/Deco obligation in recreational diving

I/we just did our first dives in excess of 70 feet and we did a 3 minute safety stop at 15 feet and my Suunto Zoop was recommending this stop for 3 minutes. This is a good habit I presume for this depth.

Full Face mask, Ocean Reef G-Diver ???

I/we are contemplating buying a Ocean Reef G-diver FFM with the coms package. It will run us about $1000 each. My dive buddy has a problem getting a good mask fit(always leaking ) and I am just tired of swallowing salt water. The FFM seems like a great alternative. No leaking, no salt water up...

My Dive buddy is afraid of getting eaten by a Shark.

I am not. I worry more about getting left behind or losing the dive boat. I bought a emergency Nautilus Lifeline GPS (problem solved). We live in Southwest FL and will primarily being diving the Keys and probably the Caribbean. I know the chances of having an issue with a shark are about as...
