I have a men’s HydroFlex size 2XL. Is a few years old but only saw water once. Has been in climate controlled storage and looks brand new. $400 OBO plus shipping.
I have recently moved to Florida ( like so many others) in the hopes of diving more. It's getting expensive to continually rent tanks. I'm looking to buy 2 maybe 3 HP steel 100s. I'm near Tampa but willing to travel. Thanks.
I just came back from DR, and always dive with ScubaFun. John Sack is the owner and still there. They have a Zookeeper and several spears. @Malcolm White If you’re going any time soon, maybe bring a few replacement polespear sling bands. Pretty sure I broke the last one I used and not sure...
I am 6 years post lami, decompression, and L4-L5 fusion. About the only thing I don’t do is climb up the ladder with my gear on. I am very careful of how I move, no twisting and so forth. Always working on my core strength just to try to stay ahead of the game.
I am a make-up-for-lost-time type of diver. Don’t know why I waited until my mid-50s to get certified, but here I am. Sold my childhood home a year after learning to dive and bought an apartment in the Caribbean. I picked a place that was an easy flight and go as often as I can. Other than...
I had my first Moderna injection on 12/24. The second will be 1/21. My brother (a dive instructor), his wife (a dive master), and their kids (20 & 25 y.o.) are all infected. Brother had a chest xray yesterday, no pneumonia but he is just not getting better. They gave him a week of...
back to OP’s question....the Dominican Republic is open. Was there diving a week ago and going back in a few weeks, ScubaFun in Bayahibe, give them a call: 1-809-833-0003.
2013 Mazda CX-5 and a 2016 Honda Pilot. Both would haul enough gear for two of us but we don’t dive locally. The Pilot hauls all the luggage we need for a dive trip without having to fold down any seats. We can get it all in the Mazda if we fold seats, but then we’re parking at the airport...
Welcome. I’m a bit north of you in NH but know of people diving on the North Shore of MA. I hope to get out with them some time this year. I believe they go from Gloucester.
While Rainbow Reef does put a lot of people on the boat, they have a guide for every 4-6 people, or you can dive without a guide. It didn’t feel like a cattle boat to us. We booked with them and stayed at the Holiday Inn. Very basic, clean, and suited our needs. The more nights/dives you...
