Huh? MK25 is one of the most expensive First Stages in the Scubapro lineup. the 600 series is also in the upper end. These are not the "Lower cost" options.

The price difference between say a MK25 EVO + G260 Setup vs a MK 25 EVO + S620Ti, isn't much. If I play my cards right, I might get the A700 for myself and give my reg to my wife, else get her the S620Ti itself.

Point well taken. Will keep it in my mind when making a decision. You make a very compelling argument. Difference is 100% between the S620Ti and the other options I was looking at, will save up and get her the best, she can use mine until I can afford it i guess lol.

Cheap SMB and Reel I bought at a Dive Shop in Khao Lak. I bought a useless Mares SMB after that until I bought an Apeks Reel with Best Divers SMB, now I don't dive without this setup.

Just got onto the BP/W bandwagon with a Mares Heavylight Weight system and Single Tank Bladder, will get some rec dives before adding a butt plate and beginning my tec journey.

Side question: While diving to depths requiring Deco, wouldn't it be safer to ensure minimal pressure points such as shaving or trimming your beard to ensure no distractions while switching gases?

Would you suggest that I should seriously consider adding a crotch strap to recreational diving as well? Haven't really given much of a thought to it till date.

Thanks for the suggestions guys, while Hydros Pro looks like the ideal option, it is double the price from the other alternatives. I can easily rig something like what The Chairman suggested as I don't use a crotch strap, but it looks like something I can sew onto the BCD.
