Selton, I use the 40mm extension when I use the 30mm Macro lens. That's why I need extension on top of the standard pancake port.

For overheating problem, seems I heard the former generation of alpha series like A33 and A55 have been reported. But haven't heard of it for 5N, anyway, I have just started to use 5N, will need to test if this problem exists. Anyway, do you think you will take movie more than 23 min continuously?

I've recently purchased a 10 Bar 5N housing. Of course its finishing is not as smooth as nauticam, but it's working cool for me. In view of the price is around 1/3 of Nauticam's price so I would go for 10bar and have a try!
