One reason jacket style BCDs prevail in rental fleets is because they provide almost 360 degree flotation at the surface. When you're wearing a jacket and you inflate it fully, you tend to ride higher out of the water (assuming it is properly fitted and it doesn't rise up off your shoulders)...
Every boat I have been on has had plenty of hangers and a dedicated drying area but if I thought I needed a clothesline I would pack a small hank of 550 paracord.
Lol they are good valves. Just let buyers know these are DIN specific valves and cannot be converted to work with yoke regs.
Not that many doubles divers use yoke regs but you never know....
Tusa makes inexpensive corrective lens inserts:

Most mask manufacturers offer one or two models with interchangeable lenses. A pair of corrective lenses to fit the mask typically costs $50-$60 on top of the mask.

October is pretty much the best time to dive in Southern California. The water is still warm from the summer (most likely in the 60s maybe even 70s), the vis tends to improve dramatically (though not always) and lobster season is open (if you're into hunting).

Check the octopus carefully for hairline cracks (where the inlet fitting goes into the yellow plastic). Those regulators get brittle with age and hairline cracks are very common). If cracked, it may not be a deal breaker but the seller should probably reduce the price accordingly as you'll have...
When I dove doubles regularly, I found 80s with a 10lb V weight to be a pretty good set for dives in the 150' range. Beyond that, I used steels or a stage.
As above, but periodically add a touch of lube to the threads on the DIN fitting (silicone or Christolube, as appropriate) so that you don't torque the fitting loose when you unscrew the reg from the valve.
