Thanks JPEG. I'm not a data junkie was in I want to check emails or social media. I just wanted to play my game lol. Unfortunately I don't have T-Mobile but if you picked up on reception my Skyroam should be able to also. And I believe Google Fi picks up on T-Mobile towers as their source. I may...
Thank you ontdiver. I will do just about anything to scuba dive so even if I'm puking all day I get in the water. haha. My liveaboard in Komodo gave me something that worked pretty well for me, I wish I knew what it was the generic for. I think it was bonine.
Thank you JPEG. I appreciate the tip. I was wondering what I could do my last day. It says we dock at 8 but my flight is at 2pm so I doubt there's much other than a local lunch. I wanted to spend an extra day but I'm flying American using miles and the flight on Sunday is United and quite...
Has anyone done a liveaboard in Roatan and had service? If so what did you use? I was looking at Google Fi and I also have a Skyroam but not sure if they will have any service. Would anyone recommend those or a local SIM?
I was land based during my Galapagos trip and did 3 days of diving. I dove with Scuba Iguana in Puerto Ayora on Santa Cruz and they were amazing! Very safe and organized. The dive sites are far though so plan a full day, but it was worth it.
Thank you both. This will be my first Aggressor. I did a livdaboard in Komodo and the water was very smooth but it still took me a day to adjust. I wasn't well the first day and a half.
I tell ya there is nothing worse than being a sea sick prone scuba junkie.
I have never booked with them but many people I've met on liveaboards has and they have only positive things to say. I personally book through divebookers. I'm in the US and they're in Canada but I've never had a problem. They also offer free DAN coverage for the duration of your liveaboard.
Hi all,
I just booked the Roatan Aggressor and was wondering if anyone has any tips or suggestions for a sea sick prone diver such as myself. Does the boat sway a lot? Any particular room location would be better? It appears we dive right off the back also so no dingys or zodiacs?
