hi all I have the shearwater perdix AI. unfortunately, it doesn’t come with a freedive mode. How important is it that I use a computer with freedive mode when freediving? Isn’t time and depth all that’s important, which is something the perdix is fully capable of? Thanks all!

Hi everyone... Genuine question here: why did they use tanks instead of rebreathers? Wouldn’t rebreather have made more sense? They wouldn’t have to place tanks along the route every night. Nor would they have to switch tanks in the middle of the route. Are the closed circuit units too big?
