Middle ear barotrauma - recovery time

Not really - ears felt fine. I must admit that I think I was getting complacent with equalizing ie only doing so when I felt pressure. I was also not good about taking Claritin on vacation but did not really experience allergies in Bonaire. ENT says right ear fine, left ear still has some...

Middle ear barotrauma - recovery time

I did 8 dives in Bonaire - no problems with ears or equalizing. I did the last dive on the morning before departure day and it was fun and uneventful. No issues with ears and everything was fine the entire day. However, the next morning, I woke up with clogged ear but flying back to the US was...

Middle ear barotrauma - recovery time

Hi All, Recently diagnosed with mild middle ear barotrauma (MEBT) but ear drum is fine. In Bonaire a couple of weeks ago - I dived at least once a day - no issues with equalization. 24 hours after last dive, I woke up with clogged ear and hearing about 50% of normal. Went to an ENT on return...

Dual Inon S-2000 vs single S&S D2J + video light

Thanks All, responses really appreciated. I have decided to go with the dual S-2000's for now, get a feel for strobe photography (I have been shooting with a Sealife camera with video light to date), and then step up to more powerful strobes in future if I find I'm not happy with them.

Dual Inon S-2000 vs single S&S D2J + video light

Setting up a lighting set for a G7X Mkii in a Fantasea housing. I'd like to stay around $1K and I'm currently considering a Dual Inon S-2000 vs single S&S D2J + video light, which would give me the option to add another D2J later. Would like fairly general capabilities, macro and some ability...

    Camera mixup - Kittiwake 3/28/18

Thanks All, turned out that it was my mistake - I took the camera out of the bucket that looked like mine. Got in touch with Sunset Divers - the other Sealife owners noticed the switch before I did and reported it, so we are swapping cameras back now. It was an excellent dive - looking forward...

    Camera mixup - Kittiwake 3/28/18

After Sunset Divers trip on the Kittiwake, myself and another diver appeared to have played "camera swap". I dived with a Sealife Micro 2.0 64GB and came home with a Sealife Micro HD. Difficult to tell these small cameras apart unless you really pay attention. If you see this, please get in...
