This is interesting and would definitely make me more likely to buy an optima. Does dive rite sell a conversion kit to go from a BM to a CM, at what cost?

I ended up getting the 107W-hr can, haven't figured out where and how to mount it yet.

I have: 4*AL80 2*AL40 2*AL30 2*AL19 Covers my needs for now, but will need to get a few more AL80's in the near future.

Unit is a Pelagian DCCCR, without the their x-plate, using the metalsub attached instead with either al19 or al30 onboard, depends on the dive, so no rack. Bailout bottle's are currently 2*al40, but expect this to grow to 2*al80, possibly plus a al40 on a leash. I don't see myself doing past that.

Could it be that only predefined cylinder sizes work? They have an "undefined" field. So I guess that would work, unless OP is after the auto calculated RMV function. A quick manual calculation and I suppose it could be entered manually?

unfortunately they don't offer a medium version. It's mini, short or tall. I guess the short would be the medium. Maybe I should also say that I frequently do more than one dive per day on a chartered boat for 2-3 days ( sleep on the boat) in a row with unpredictable charging opportunity...

Shearwater hands down. I did have one Deepblu cosmiq+ and it died after a year. Now I have three Shearwater, one perdix ai, one Petrel 2 ext (fisher), and one nerd 2 fisher. Never had an issue with either of them. Couldn't be happier with them.
